Project Management/Engineering

& 3D Scanning

Project Management

My background is in mechanical design engineering, to date with a focus on delivering high quality processing equipment and solutions for use in the vegetable sector. These projects range from the delivery of a single piece of machinary, to the complete line solution. I have experience integrating third party equipment, and managing the extra stakeholders that this entails.

  • Have a strong fundamental design knowledge

  • Foster good communication channels between all stakeholders

  • Manage timelines and project cost adherence

Project Engineering

being a CAD jockey

  • Integrating machinary to work seamlessly whether it is designed in house or 3rd party partners equipment.

  • Pipework design, specifying of pumps and control equipment

  • reticulation

3D scanning of As-builts

As a Project engineer I was well versed in the difficulties that a poor existing layout could create. 3D scanning is a fantastic way to mitigate this, if done correctly. I offer a different take on the conventional 3D scanning companies, whereby I aim to understand the key focuses before scanning and creating the model. This allows me to create a model that captures the key areas of interest, while minimising the file size delivered.

Conventional 3D scanning

  • Uses built in functions to quickly create models, can be inaccurate

  • Has a more generalist approach

  • Large models (slow)

Dans 3D scanning

  • Focuses on specific areas of interest

  • High accuracy of modelling

  • Optimises size of delivered models

  • Large amounts of pipework, cable tray, and handrails do take longer

  • Cheaper
